Editorial Policy & Advertiser Disclosure | The Aesthetic Review

Editorial Policy & Advertiser Disclosure

The Aesthetic Review exists to give you honest information about treatments, skincare, and grooming that actually work. We cover anti-age solutions, cosmetic procedures, male grooming standards, and self-care routines with the same eye we’d use if we were choosing them ourselves.

How We Stay Independent

Our editorial decisions aren’t driven by advertising revenue. We write about treatments and brands because they’re worth covering, not because someone paid us to mention them. When we recommend a clinic, procedure, or product, it’s because the evidence supports it or because we’ve seen real results in practice.

We decline sponsorships that would compromise coverage. If a brand wants to advertise with us, that doesn’t influence whether or how we review their products or services.

Sponsored Content and Partnerships

When we publish sponsored articles or partner with aesthetic clinics, dermatologists, or beauty brands, we label that content clearly. You’ll see “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” at the top of the piece so there’s no confusion about what’s editorial and what’s paid.

Sponsored posts still meet our standards for accuracy. We don’t publish false claims, even in paid content. If a brand’s claims don’t hold up, we either correct them or decline the partnership.

Affiliate Links and Commission

Some of our links to products or clinics are affiliate relationships. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. We disclose this on relevant pages and articles. We only recommend products or services we’d actually suggest regardless of commission.

How We Handle Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction. Medical information, treatment details, and pricing change. We update articles when new research emerges or when facts shift. Corrections appear at the top of the article so you see what changed and when.
